Insurance and discounts are probably not on the minds of competitors. They simply list events on websites like Meetup and Eventbrite in hopes of scoring a quick buck. We care about customers. Let's learn how!
Many of us experience an affordability crisis. This means people cannot pay the price of basic needs after discounts despite working extremely hard for little money. Some people blindly particpate in overspending which create depression.
Our prices are lower than competitors pricing. We'll cover the tax. Folks that successfully refer others to us will earn discounts as cash back!
You will automatically earn discounts on select events if you order sufficient tickets. Genders can be mixed in an order.
As of year 2025, our non-refundable service fees are lower for people paying either by credit card, debit card, or Google Pay.
Our former processor Square ditched us (and others) in January 2025. Clover is our new more efficient merchant service that processes transactions FASTER. Unlike Square, Clover only allows certified businesses to use their platform.
We now have our own merchant identification number (mID) and merchant category code (MCC). Square has only one mID & MCC. They temporarily combine people's money into it. Square account holders do not have their own mID or MCC codes. The same holds true for PayPal, Stripe, and many ticketing platforms including Eventbrite.
We formerly allowed Square to hang onto money until event day. Now we (not our processor) are managing ALL cash flow through our own account with Bank of Montreal, a CDIC-insured bank.
CDIC stands for Canadian Deposit Insurance Corporation, a company that protects people's money should the banks fail to do so.
Use the convenient shopping bag to select events you and your friends wish to attend. Mix and match tickets to your hearts content! We eliminated the requirement to create a new order per venue.
We gain permission from venue owners to setup events at some venues. We also paid a rental fee deposit to Splitsville Hamilton to rent their room for our events. It's one way we set ourselves apart from competitors.
Exiting the Greater Hamilton Area is currently not affordable, however we continue to advertise both online and in print, so folks without internet access can understand we exist.
