Microsoft accounts are internally blocking emails!

And it isn't only us!

Until further notice, ticket buyers using either an Outlook, Hotmail, Live, MSN or other email account hosted through Microsoft might not receive a receipt upon successful payment.

Microsoft is blocking us internally

Unfortunately, our attempts at sending emails to different accounts on Microsoft domains results in instant blocks, but we can receive emails from anyone.

The block (downloadable here as a PDF) states that part of our network is on Microsoft's block list.

Others had the same issue!

A domain administrator faces email blocks when trying to send email to a Microsoft account. A server administrator also had this problem.

Other businesses (according to google) reported Microsoft blocking emails (including important ones destined to customers).

One week ago, a wedding catering business owner reported similar email blocking issues on the Microsoft forums

A response from Microsoft

We looked for help everywhere!

We reached out to Microsoft. They claim there is NO issue with any of their accounts receiving email from us! We checked the public email blacklists and we are not visible there either.

This is a false positive that Microsoft needs to seriously fix. It impacts multiple businesses including ours. We suggest you do NOT use Microsoft-owned products, especially Windows with its ongoing problems.

Errors aren't limited to Microsoft accounts!

Microsoft keeps on screwing around with its Windows operating system while generating more frustrated users. Here are some recent problems with Windows that Microsoft had to fix.

Will you still use a Microsoft Email account?

After reviewing all those issues and people's mostly negative reactions to Microsoft products, would you continue to use a Microsoft Email account (ending in outlook, hotmail, live, or MSN), or will you ditch it and use a better free email account provider like proton mail, Gmail, and yahoo?

There are two other well-known operating systems you can use besides the constantly changing Windows. Try your hand at a Mac, or pay no money and learn Linux.

Unless Microsoft fixes their problems for good, we unfortunately cannot automatically issue receipts to ticket buyers using Microsoft-based email addresses.
